Insects sometimes get a disease likewise human beings, and various types of disease such as virus, bacillus, or fungus are facing competition with their host. This lecture explains several insect diseases, and also introduces the case of silkworm rearing and disease prevention, advanced techniques of insect controlling with bioagents, and recent medical/biomaterial productions.
