The European Union Approach to Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference (FIMI) in a Changing Security Landscape

00:52

In past years, the European Union has developed its approach to foreign information manipulation and interference (FIMI) as an emerging area of foreign policy. New instruments and tools were created, including a new “toolbox” to address instances of FIMI. The lecture will focus on the development of the toolbox and its practical uses, against the background of the rapidly changing security situation in Europe and in the Indo-Pacific.
