UTokyo Open Lecture series aims to directly communicate outcomes of our academic research to a larger audience.The theme of the 126th lecture is New Oder.
This lecture introduces autophasy, a fundamental system of recycling cellular components. The lecture explains mechanisms underlying autophasy, which captured the Nobel Prize in 2016, including how it emerges and how it relates to diseases.
