We often hear the word “protein” in our daily lives—in the context of health, the human body, and food. But what exactly are proteins? In this lecture, we will learn that proteins are chains of amino acids and explore how their diversity arises. Furthermore, we will understand how proteins are produced from DNA, using familiar analogies to explain the processes involved.
