Radioactive contamination of the trees is a serious obstacle to the cultivation of the mushrooms, which are an important part of the forestry products. Prof. Miura finds out how Cs moves from the trees, through the mushroom logs taken from the tree, to the mushrooms. He discusses also how the reference value of the radiation in mushrooms should be set.
