To think about the global environment, we need comprehend the problems of climate change, recurrent natural disasters, world population explosion, deprivation of biodiversity, and so on. In this lecture, Prof. Kawasaki outlines the international action frameworks and scientific efforts toward the solution of the problems, especially of the global poverty and the natural disasters.
