The reconstruction of agriculture in Fukushima is only half done, though the pollution of agricultural products has been largely clarified and partly mitigated. Depressed motivation of the refugees to come back and restart farming, neglected farmlands devastated by animals and weeds, and so on. Many problems still remain. Prof. Nihei provides an overview of the current state and problems in agriculture in Fukushima.
