There is the concept of “way” which forms the basis of oriental thoughts. Prof.Yasutomi discusses what the word “way” means, based on examples of use of "The Analects of Confucius" and "Lao Tzu".
In this lecture, Prof.Yasutomi considers thinking that the word "way" means "Ways of things”. Then Prof.Yasutomi shows how to understand these two books in a unified way.
