Information Design for Real-time Response to Catastrophes

00:40

In the Noto Peninsula Earthquake that occurred on the first day of 2024, experts and mass media collaborated on SNS and published digital maps of the disaster situation using limited data, which was widely utilized. These activities are based on the experience of immediate response to major disasters such as the Great East Japan Earthquake, the Kumamoto Earthquake, and the Turkey-Syria Earthquake. In this lecture, information design methods for real-time response to major disasters will be explained with demonstrations.

NOTE: - This lecture was conducted only in Japanese.
