Ocean provides us with food, energy, water, transportation means, and many other resources. However, it does not stand as it is. Human utilization of marine resources can change, and is in fact changing, water quality and ecosystem in the ocean. How can we engage in a sustainable way with the ocean, which provides us various resources? Prof. Tabeta discusses this theme from the perspective of environment systems science.
