UTokyo Open Lecture series aims to directly communicate outcomes of our academic research to a larger audience.The theme of the 126th lecture is New Oder.
When too many people concentrate in a limited place, it seems to be hard to live. Why do people nonetheless gather in big cities such as Tokyo and Osaka? This lecture seeks an answer from the viewpoint of urban and regional economics.
