After the Great East Japan Earthquake, we faced many challenges as a member of the local community. In addition, there were many things we were capable of doing as a member of the University of Tokyo. My topic will be on the 14-years of regional reconstruction efforts after the disaster at the Otsuchi Coastal Research Center, Atmosphere and Ocean Research Institute, The University of Tokyo.
