As the wars in Ukraine and Gaza demonstrate, 'conflict' has been a constant in the world in recent years. This lecture will consider how such conflicts can be understood and what can be done to contain their escalation from the perspective of international cooperation. In particular, it will discuss the socio-political conditions for conflict prevention. The speaker will also talk about how he became interested in international cooperation and development as a subject of specialization.
