Development of regional atmospheric data useful for disaster prevention and mitigation[JP]

Under global warming, extreme weather events are becoming more frequent in Japan, and related disasters are becoming more serious. In this lecture, I will review recent extreme weather events based on data analysis, and then introduce our on-going project to produce high-resolution 4D atmospheric data that will be useful in the future for disaster prevention and mitigation in individual regions.
